There are many experiences and activities that forged this role. Kathy took her first course in Scientology, on applied religious philosophy, in 1979. It wasn’t long after that she began studying Scientology full time, and this was where her questions about the spirit, mind and life became answered. From communication to marriage and the raising of a family to the knowledge of herself as a spiritual being, Scientology provided her with a rich understanding of life.
Kathy realized then that her purpose was to help others, and she trained to become an auditor — one who listens — and achieved the highest level of auditor classification. She then founded the Church of Scientology Mission of Belleair (in Belleair, FL) in 1998 and ran it for the next 10 years. Belleair Mission has trained and audited thousands of people, and their successes further validated her belief in the power of the technology of Scientology and her ability to help others.
Kathy expanded her zone of responsibility even further by helping establish the Church of Scientology Mission of Ocala — the First Ideal Mission. This beautiful mission opened its doors in May of 2011.
As a philanthropist and fundraiser, Kathy works with the International of Association of Scientologist (IAS) to forward the Global Social Betterment Programs and Humanitarian Programs sponsored by the IAS to bring about the Aims of Scientology from L. Ron Hubbard – A civilization without insanity, without criminals and without war, where the able can prosper and honest beings can have rights, and where man is free to rise to greater heights, are the aims of Scientology.
